Job Description
Pilgrim Furniture City is looking to fill a full-time Customer Service Associate position. In-house training will be provided. The person filling this hourly position will be primarily responsible for interacting with customers to provide information, assistance and service in response to inquiries concerning deficiencies in purchased furniture.
This position is expected to perform but not limited to the following tasks:
Have clear understanding of the department policies and procedures in regards to processing service calls.
Process customer orders/changes for parts, returns and exchanges according to established department policies and procedures.
Provide timely and accurate information to customers in regards to the status of their service inquiries.
Work closely with vendors to process company service charge backs for damaged merchandise.
Ability to handle irate customers in a professional and timely manner.
Continuously review and implement improvements to his/her processes in order to be more efficient and productive.
Work schedule will be 38-40 hrs weekdays plus Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30am to 6:00pm.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to take initiative, work independently (with minimal supervision), have Microsoft and Excel knowledge.

Required experience:
Call Center and Customer Service Skills, Computer Proficiency: 2 years
