Terms and Conditions of Sale
Policies
All merchandise must be picked up or delivered within 10 days of the arrival date. Pick-ups usually require some customer assumbly.
Pilgrim Furniture City is not liable when the furniture does not fit into your home. If a delivery attempt is made and the furniture does not fit, the delivery fee will not be refunded and the cancellation or return policy will take effect.
Errors in pricing and arithmetic are subject to correction.
Due to many factors beyond our control, we cannot be held responsible for delays in deliveries caused by the manufacturer or freight company.
Financed purchases will be charged from the date of sale and the terms of the credit plan will begin immediately.
Orders must be paid in full upon scheduling delivery.
Refunds
A full refund will be issued on an undelivered order cancelled within three (3) days of the sale date. After three (3) days, but before delivery, a cancellation fee of 10% of the purchased price for stock items and 30% of purchase price for special orders will apply. The balance will be refunded. Floor samples and clearance items are excluded.
Refunds will be issued by the same method as the purchase was made, i.e. by check or credit card. Checks are mailed after a 10 day waiting period. Cash deposits will be refunded by check.
Merchandise reselections or refund is available if it is returned in the original condition within 7 days of delivery or pickup. There is a 10% of purchase price fee for all returned stock items and a 30% of purchase price fee for any special order items. Original delivery and pick up fees are not refundable.
Mattresses, floor samples, accessories, and clearance items are not refundable. See mattress comfort assurance plan for details.
Warranties
Pilgrim Furniture City warrants that the merchandise you purchase will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from receipt of merchandise. Pilgrim Furniture City reserve all rights to decide the best method of resolving any defect issues within the one year period. After one year, if the merchandise is in need of repair, Pilgrim Furniture City may, as a courtesy, inspect the merchandise that is sold AS-IS.
Normal wear and tear from usage is not covered by any manufacturer or extended warranties.
